District Court

General Information

Reno County District Court is the 27th Judicial District of Kansas. The court has general original jurisdiction over all civil and criminal cases, including divorce and domestic relations, damage suits, probate and administration of estates, guardianships, conservatorships, care of the mentally ill, juvenile matters, and small claims.

Jury Information

Jury Panel for June 2021

Jurors 2 through 99 will report Wednesday, June 16th, 2021 at 9:00 am. Jurors 100 through 149 will report Wednesday, June 16th, 2021 at 10:30 am. All remaining jurors your next reporting date is Monday June 21st, 2021. Please check this website or call 620-694-2763 on Sunday, June 20, 2021 after 5:00 pm to confirm this reporting date.

Masks are required at all times while in the courthouse for jury duty. Please bring one with you or ask at the security desk and they will provide you with one.

When and if you are required to report to the courthouse be assured that every reasonable precaution will be taken to protect your health and safety while you are in the courthouse. If you have a face covering or other personal protective gear with which you are comfortable, please bring them with you. If you have any questions please email them to district.court@renogov.org.

Please Note

When called in for service, all jurors need to enter the front (south) secured entrance. This includes those who require handicap accessibility. Please do not attempt to bring in the following items, as they are prohibited from entering the courthouse:

  • Firearms
  • Ammunition
  • Stun guns/Tazers
  • Explosives
  • Knives of any size
  • Swords
  • Martial arts weapons
  • Pepper spray/Mace
  • Tools
  • Scissors
  • Bows/arrows
  • Brass knuckles
  • Toy weapons
