As of June 1, 2010 the Reno County Health Department and the Planning, Zoning, and Utilities Department have entered into an inter-office agreement regarding the issuance of building permits.  In order for the Planning Department to issue a building permit, the Health Department must first sign off on the proposed building project.

Please print off the form and visit the Health Department to have your building project approved before visiting the Planning Department.  As an alternative, you may discuss the project with the Planning Department to determine if it meets the Reno County Land Development Regulations, but a building permit cannot be issued until this form is signed by a representative of the Health Department.
